I saw this about a year and a half ago while driving from New Haven to Hamden to give a lecture. It was striking enough to cause me to pull over for a closer look, although I didn’t have a camera with me. It’s really fantastic. Is it supposed to conjure images of a drop of water?
I’ll answer my own question with a quote from the architect’s website: “The administration building is formed as a stainless steel sliver rising like liquid from below.”
