New Look for Eiffel Tower
**Update – This has been confirmed as a hoax by the architects**
In celebration of the 120th birthday of the Eiffel Tower, the top floor is being extended by bolting a new temporary structure onto it that will allow the top floor to accomodate a larger number of visitors.
The extension is designed by SERERO Architects

As a french astonished by this post I go to have further informations and discover that it was a bad joke from the architects to get some free advertising! Our Eiffel Tower won’t be touched!

I think they should not change because it is a famaous land mark and brings alot of tourists to France which is also increasing the popularite of it.

this is partially fake. first off, the 120 anniversary of the Eiffel Tower already past. but it was going to happen, but it just never made it. they wanted it to happen, but i think it would ruin the best part of Paris; its landmark.

although it would make every one want to com to Paris to see this amazing temporary extension. i mean, it wouldn’t be all that bat. it would actually be kinda cool. and besides, it would have been temporary, so people who dont like it would only have to see it for a while.
