House in Montauk, New York
If you work a stressful job in Manhattan, Montauk is the kind of place you go to escape for the weekend. Out on the end of Long Island, Montauk is a place to relax in a calm and serene environment far away from the high-pressure world that is New York City, and what better way to enhance that calm serenity than to spend your time in a house designed by Murdock Young Architects like the Cutler Residence seen here.

The pool and the area around it look great.

The outdoor living room is great – I love the way the chimney serves 2 fireplaces and holds up that whole cantilevered end of the structure.

Love the design and layout. Boy, what I wouldn’t give to live here!

Now that the Recession is over and the Depression is setting in like a cement anchor on our economic ankles, it is delightful and for sentimental value, fulfilling to peruse the photos of a truly decedent and McMansionish “The Way We Were” home. No mention of solar heating, no hint of zero upkeep, not a whisper about zero running costs, just decadence, lavished thickly like a good sugary frosting over the new American reality. Thank You for this truly fatasy moment in our troubled times!

Hi,
Do you think that it is possible to get the plans, or the structure shema of this house ?
