The Egg Office Building in Mumbai, India
We’ve been seeing more and more interesting architecture happening over in India lately, and it just keeps coming with the announcement that the prolific Indian developers Vijay Associates have commissioned James Law Cybertecture to create this 13 floor office building in Mumbai’s new Central Business District. It is set to be complete in late 2010.

yeah james law is all over the place these days. i wonder if he’s hiring, hehe.
what’s with the flat side, though? it seems a bit odd… but whatever, looks like a nice building to work in.

you know- Albany, New York tried building “the egg” a while ago, with questionable results!! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Egg_%28building%29) This one looks a bit more promising

Well the building is awesome. very contemporary and eye-catching. it doesn’t look like the academy mont cenis though. the one in albany new york looks great too. but the national grand theatre in beijing is nice too (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:National_Grand_Theatre.jpg)
