A fortune in air conditioning, you will probably have to replace everything on the floors within three years because of UV damage, and forget your private art collection which will also fade disastrously (if you can find anywhere to hang it?). Who’s going to wash the windows? With a family of four the acoustics will be a nightmare, and Lord, with all that up-market furniture, for God’s sake no pets! But then, if you’ve got $10 million for this, who cares? And at least the rooms are a livable size, not like the aircraft hangars that Australian architects seem to love.

Hanna Glawari,
don’t hate because you don’t have it… it’s pathetic. It’s a beautiful house no matter what you think…
please learn to appreciate and respect.

A beautiful residence, even at this price. As far as I know travertine is very UV stable so the floor will not yellow.

the home has plenty of overhang to prevent sun damage.. Look at the distance from the overhang to furniture for example. as well, these the windows are probably Low E .. Of course there is sun damage over the years.. look at your face in the mirror if you don’t think so.. how about living life!

This home is magnificent and anyone whom is blessed enough to be able to purchase such a beautiful piece of contemporary Australian architecture is lucky. The architect and builder should be commended. Cheers!

Hi Ray
Stunning home however, very good question, why has your name not been published, not even on the walker house website, as always credit is given to the creative force behind all works of art and you do deserve to be publicly credited as this is how business is generated by samples of work and reputation. Beautiful design and outstanding construction.
