This house in Portugal was designed by Arquiprojecta.

The project manifests a clear longing for reclusion from the neighbouring constructions.  A house of contemporary design, marked by its pure forms and minimalist, unpretentious style, is set on a gently sloping plot with favourable exposure to the sun.

Conscious of the limits of the landscape, the discreet, orthogonal volume featuring large glass panes rejects the evident aesthetic frame of reference of its surroundings.  It embraces the patio/suntrap and creates a peaceful scenery where the house is reflected in the glassy surface of the pool.
