Designers Nicholls+Scott have produced the Shell range of seating, which includes three stools and a dining chair.  The pieces are all hollow lightweight structures capable of carrying loads far in excess than their own weight implies. Each piece is made from 2.0mm sheet aluminium, cut, bent, welded and polished or sprayed. The faceted aesthetic is derived from the space frame principle of construction which affords minimal material use to achieve phenomenal strength.
