Soundhouse at the University of Sheffield
The University of Sheffield’s state-of-the-art music practice and studio facility, the Soundhouse, is now complete. The striking development was conceptually designed by Carey Jones Architects and delivered by Jefferson Sheard Architects. The building, which provides rehearsal and recording facilities for music students, is clad in sound insulating black rubber to prevent noise entering or escaping the building.

The house is not only sound proof but at the very least I suspect it is water resistant!

I think I see Blackwell’s and St George’s in the backgrounds of a couple of the photos.
Not far from Tesco’s.
