Contemporary European architecture always strikes me as somewhat retro. Like a sound stage from “2001: A Space Odyssey” it often looks like a 1960′s version of what the future will look like. I realize I’m painting with a broad brush here, but I can’t help but think when I see post like this one, that I have seen it all before.

Very nice. I want to stay there next time I go to Barcelona.

I stayed here just over a year ago and loved it. The rooms were just as amazing as the public spaces.
Not shown in the images here is the amazing rooftop deck complete with bar and pool. It is also meters away from the Torre Agbar which I became obsessed with on my brief stay.

been there, loved it.
The bar had three different types of champagne open, and the toilets were done in gold mosaic. (Bisazza)?
Go, if you can!
