I like the lighting under the bench/planters.
How much energy do the grow lights use to keep the green walls green?
Nico on 29 Nov 2008 at 11:06 am #
Very nice! Depending on the type of plants used I don’t think too much energy would be needed for lighting.

I am not impressed by the design. It does not look natural. I am a strong advocate for putting green into the office but this is not a viable options for me.

I want my walls to look like that. I watched a video about some french guy who does that to the outside of buildings.

As a Realtor, staging consultant and trainer for Live Green, Live Smart Institute…I LOVE it, it hits all of my sensibilities as far as aesthetic, green, living and calming effects…WOW, I saw a cactus garden one recently at a WEST COAST GREEN 2008 and it drew my attention. I would LOVE one in my living room I have 15 foot ceilings and it’s hard to warm up that room. Thanks for sharing.

Very attractive, where do we learn the basics? Growing medium, watering, feeding methods and so on.

I like the idea of the vertical garden, and I love the yellow sofa, but I don’t like how the garden looks in the room. And there are too many plants. Maybe it will look more suitable in a sun room or an outdoor setting.

Simply brilliant. Managing this one will be quite difficult though. I would prefer the same on an outdoor setting.

This is amazing – I love everything about the design of this room and the vertical garden. It’s a work of art.

Those lamps are probably ceramic metal halide. They provide full spectrum, although point lighting is a weakness in the design over a large flat area. Regardless, it looks beautiful.

very very good work
people should pay more attension to the plants in their inviroment. I`m fan of Hundertwasser, and i hope someone will continiu his project ” let`s bring roofs back to nature”

I could recommend some interesting garden decor to nestle in some of those fabulous living nooks and crannies…I hope my bedroom in paradise looks like these rooms.

I love this idea. Not only is it great for office and apartment building lobbies, it would be great in a small enclosed patio.

Looks great, but is a gardener needed to look after?
John P on 22 May 2009 at 6:40 am #
Great blog post! I love learning about this online as gardening/landscaping are not only hobbies of mine but I actually do a little bit of work like that during the summer months as a second job. I appreciate your content in your blog and wish that you would keep up the good work
