The Workbay Chair by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec
Designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have created the Workbay chair for Vitra.
From Vitra:
Workbay protects its users visually and acoustically thanks to the shape of its high backrest. It opens the possibility for users to distance themselves, even in busy environments, so as to be able to concentrate better with fewer disruptions.

Uhhhh, can someone say Showtime? A complete and utter rip off of the Jaime Hayon design, which I love. It’s a nice concept though.

they created a desk system so people can have a completely open office ( no cubicles ), and now they enclose the workers back again . . .
I see no sense .

Well can you honestly seeing anyone buying these for a “real” and large office? Most likely not. It’s a statement piece and as such I’m sure it’ll find it’s way into a handful of homes at it’s expected thousands of dollars sticker price.
