OMG .. I love the colors. The style is attractive and quite simple .. kids would love it. The forth from the top is my favorite.

I’ve always attempted built-ins for my childrens’ rooms. This style is what I had been trying to accomplish! (And the colors are great)

These are all great but you’d have to have HUGE bedrooms for it to fit, which isn’t the case in 99.9% of houses.
Alan Scott on 08 Jan 2009 at 10:55 am #
I think most, if not all of these, would fit in a 150 square foot bedroom, which is a very common size.
If these wouldn’t fit in 99.9% of bedrooms, the company wouldn’t have much of a business, would they? Obviously someone is buying them, so bedrooms large enough to fit these are probably not as rare as you might think.

In modern builds 150 sq ft is not common for the average house, esp not for a child’s bedroom.
Of course these are designs not aimed at the average British household, I am sure that they will be emulated by British furniture designers.

In America, 150 square foot bedrooms are very common. Master bedrooms are often 300 square feet.

Love the solutuion where the stairs are also drawes.

My own bedroom in my parents home is 800 square feet. I think in most American homes 150 square foot rooms are quite common. Futhermore- these designs are not just set into spacious rooms, the way they’re built in makes the room seem larger, because bunks use less space. Just imagine these designs in a small room. It could easily work- there would just be a smaller floor space.

I love these! I wish my bedroom was like these, but for a grown-up. I love the bluey-aqua one.

like them all except for pictures 7-10.
#7: no way for the person up top to get out of bed without disturbing the person below.
#8: how is the person up top supposed to get down?
#9: i don’t get the couch concept. the bars holding up the bed don’t make for a lot of room.
#10: the beds are just claustrophobic. i know it’s geared toward children, but the bottom bed hardly has any room.
however, i really like the designs that use stairs to get to the top bed; especially with having drawers in the stairs.

Thanks Lucy - I went and had a look at the site. Now I feel like going shopping!

I like the back steps up to the top bunk. Some of the beds to seem a bit claustrophobic, and the desks a little small, but I like their way of thinking.

Love the idea, But its based out of ITALY! And the website is in Italian. Maybe its me, but number one, can and do they have a company out of the US, so we can get those items here, and Number two, how can I get the site in English???

I love these! I think it’s a great idea and can definitely be customised to work in smaller bedrooms, although looking at the pics, I think one thing you really would need is sufficient height in the room. Here in the average suburban South African household, I’m not sure the height would cut it. I’m not sure about measurements though, so maybe it would work, though if I, at 1.68m, stand on my average child-height bed, can just touch the ceiling with my fingers… I don’t think a double would work.

Where are all the toys on the floor?
karen on 12 Jan 2009 at 10:07 am #
They feel like corporate bedrooms for kids. Yuck. I feel like I walked into an Ikea or Target display area.
Genesis on 13 Jan 2009 at 4:53 pm #
These are really neat, but they would never fit in my house. sigh. People are talking about having 150 square foot bedrooms . . . my entire house is less than 200 square feet. lol.
mecie on 15 Jan 2009 at 7:32 am #
I enjoy the designs, they look easy to build. I think they would give a room an open, airy feeling.
