The Reflex3 Chair by Peter Opsvik
Peter Opsvik, one of Norway’s most famous designers, has created a third version of his line of Reflex chairs for Naturellement, an Alesund, Norway based furniture manufacturer. The Reflex3 Chair is an unusual construction whereby the sitting surfaces are suspended in a self-supporting swing which allows movement in two directions – from side to side and backwards and forwards.
From Peter Opsvik:
This is a highly dynamic chair where both its curved rails (rocker) and its suspended support areas provide a sitting experience close to a floating sensation. As natural as your foot follows the rhythm in a melody, your feet will guide you when sitting in this chair. You find your rhythm automatically almost like a reflex.

Now THAT looks like a comfortable chair (and it’s not bad to see form follow function once in a blue moon.)
