This is more impressive architecture than 99% of the houses in America. It is not typical.

Have you looked at what the average house in the US is like? It’s almost all fake historical garbage. Most houses aren’t even designed by architects.

This isn’t the most amazing architecture I’ve ever seen, but it’s much better than the average, so I appreciate it for that reason alone. If the only architecture you’re capable of enjoying is some Frank Gehry/Zaha Hadid craziness, then you’re going to be waiting a long time, because there’s very little of it being done.

I agree with the comments above, the views are great, but the architecture is nothing special. Pretty typical cookie cutter stucco and glass. Seen it and seen it.

This place is fantastic! Because of so much
concrete, I would decorate each room differently with warm, passionate colors; velvet red, deep purples & plum, sunset golds, etc. And One special room in satin white and ecru! Lime green
somewhere too. Added with blue sky views and lush canyon colors…lovely!

Im thinking about building ‘something similar’ on a site with similar characteristics (50ft from high ocean cliff, high winds during winter, barren – no trees), and was wondering how wind forces, including storms, have affected this design, and was it a consideration at all.. I think you might get a lot of rattleing on square angled glass.. Thanks.

I really like everything, except the chairs in the kitchen. It reminds me of like a retro style, from like the 60s or something, trying to be futuristic. But the house is amazing! And everything else is absolutely awesome!
