Freddy Chandra at the Brian Gross Fine Art Gallery
The Brian Gross Fine Art Gallery in San Francisco, will be featuring works by the Indonesian-born visual artist Freddy Chandra in a solo exhibition in September, 2009.
His work consists of site-specific installations and multi-panel wall compositions. Each installation is an immersive environment constructed as a place that encourages sensory understanding of physical space and temporal duration. His compositions suggest a contingency in the rhythmic act of marking space and shifts that occur in our experience of time.

That’s cool. I wish there was a picture of someone or something next to them so we could see how big they are.

I really like this artist’s work. There’s something deceptively simple about it, I’m sure it’s a nightmare to make each section perfectly. But it’s the choice of colors that wow’s me. More than likely out of my range, but still, a very, very nice collection.

Visit the gallery website, they list the sizes there, but the one you probably like is the 11 high by 32 long. They’re having a showing of his work, solo exibition, in San Francisco in Sept/Oct
