ILLU Outdoor Shelter from Bleu Nature
Bleu Nature, the northern France based manufacturer of contemporary furniture that has a distinctive natural feeling through their frequent use of organic materials, have unveiled their 2009 Spring/Summer collection. An early standout piece is the ILLU Outdoor Shelter.

The outdoor collection ILLU offers an openwork shelter in natural oak, from French forests. Unvarnished and untreated, the wood laths rest on a white, lacquered stainless steel structure. Exposed to the weather and the elements, they will slowly and naturally develop its own patina.

they looks claustrophobics..a LOT of waste of “FRENCH FOREST´S WOOD´´..shelter?..of rain? it doesnt work for it..of wind? it doesnt work for it..of sun? maybe just a little..they are not functional only to sitting down and dont accomplish with all of its purposes..

The function they provide, besides somewhere to sit, is privacy and a little sun shade.
Also, Bleu Nature is known for using recycled wood, so I doubt this wood was cut down from the forest just to make these.
