I walked past this house in 2008, and i find it quite a ugly house. Obviously it stands out from the rest of the houses there, but thats all it does really. Quite creative angularity. And the front door IS great. Yet a gratuitous, self indulgent waste of (valuable) space. It does not properly "serve the purpose" for which it is designed - unless of course the owners live in illusion. It's not deconstructive - just unfinished. It looks as though the architects ran off when the budget ran out early. The stairs are monumentally dangerous, as is the walkway(what were they thinking - or not?) and nowhere near close to passing safety regulations. Children, the infirm or elderly, medicated, disabled perhaps drunk occupants or visitors are excluded. Sasha - if that's your dream house I dread to imagine your nightmares. Impressive design skills!
