The reflecting pool running parallel the house feeds the swimming pool just at the corner of the master bedroom. Photos referred to as 10, 11 and 12 is the library on the second floor. That linear strip of red was intended as a book shelf, with bench below and day-bed skylight niche to lay back and read Bend Sinister. I guess that this kind of architecture says little for vernacular in the way that O'neil Ford did or Lake Flato do, but it sure is pretty.
