From the layout of the kitchen to the stairs. I am quite unfond of the contrast of urban modern with the wooded landscape as well. It seems to rely on the view to warm it up. A long way from EL..... The beauty of it being hidden from view is that you can safely go about your business within the glass walls, while still having privacy. It also gives you incredible views of the surrounding nature. As for unsafe staircases, I'm sure there is a way to retrofit glass or plexi if need be for children, but the house probably wasn't designed with that intent. As for unsafe staircases, I’m sure there is a way to retrofit glass or plexi if need be for children, but the house probably wasn’t designed with that intent. Just as a Porsche wasn’t designed for a child seat!
