I’ve decided to reply to you personally rather than on a blog.
We are an Australian company specialising in custom made fittings for casinos , clubs, hotels and shopping centres, and we release new concepts and designs every month to our clients. The design of the Sans Serif was derived from our Halo pendant, the idea was to use a sustainable / recyclable material (plywood) in a fitting that can be easily disassembled and recycled. As we deal in custom made fittings, the form and specs are tailored to suit any specific project, and the fact that the form chosen to present this fitting resembles one of your designs was unfortunate and unintentional. My apologies if any offence was caused.
As we suffer as much as any design company from copies, we have made he decision to remove the Sans Serif in it’s current form from our web-site and catalogues. If you have any further queries regarding this, please don’t hesitate to contact myself.
If you are ever passing through Australia, don’t hesitate to drop in and see us and what we do.
