The AMEBA Light by Pete Sans
Spanish designer Pete Sans has created the AMEBA light for the Barcelona based lighting manufacturer VIBIA.
AMEBA is a new pendant concept adaptable and adjustable to every space thus allowing selecting and creating compositions according to every need and preference. This light fitting is made of 5 different basic shapes that fit perfectly and can be combined among themselves to offer an unlimited range of compositions.

Normally, I don’t think those lamps would fit. But if you look at the building, the decor are all fairly innovative, so the light actually fits in.

I just purchased and installed an ameba light into my living room. The light it gives off is too bright. I’m told that a dimmer switch can’t be used with these fluoresent bulbs of which there are 17. I also have been told that I can’t reduce the wattage of the bulbs from 13 watts.
