Wow. Only white wine and champagne in that house.

Awesome! I love the white-wash technique used to frame the nature surrounding the house, and the only real use of colors of furniture within the house are wooden tables and side tables (furniture could get dirty real easily though). And also the use of the “thick wall” motif that folds up and around the space within, creating the rooms themselves (with the use of the inset glass as well).

Why did they photoshop the sculpture into the second to last photo?… notice the shadow.

This I love! White is always a great choice, especially with modern design. It’s pure, clean, and it’s easy to work with and you can always add a bit of color later, by adding a pillow or art work, etc. White is almost always my personal choice of color (or lack of color) when it comes to furniture, bedding, towels, lighting, walls, window treatment, interior/exterior color, etc. Plus, with the location of this gem, let the outside scenery be the color… the water, the palm trees, etc. This house is perfect in every way imaginable. I know lots of people say white is non-livable. I say, learn to not be such a slob! Plus, in all actuality, if you can afford his house, you will most likely have a housekeeper to keep it clean after you (if you’re not neat/clean enough).

I like it, but I would probably have more colorful furnishings.

sorry … but I think this house is absolut boring … in the living room it os hard to decide where to sit
the kitchen looks like the kitchen from GM … there is much space but seems that they had to fill it because it is there …

Obviously a house like this is not for everyone. It all comes down to personal preference, especially when the price of the house is 15M. Again, personally, I love this house & the way it is decorated. I love the white colored (everything). I just don’t think I’d want very many visitors, as most individuals are pretty careless/sloppy and not nearly as meticulous & OCD as I am.
But I am more than okay with living in a museum-like place. I love that cold look. I don’t want it warm & inviting for anyone. If they don’t like it.. all the better.. it’s all for me (not them)!

If I were a wealthy white supremacist I would love this house.
I disagree with Oliver about the living room though. It’s Miami and if you have this house you have parties and need this much space and seating in the living room. If you serve red wine at these parties you’re risk taker extraordinaire!
I don’t agree with LosCA about it being cold looking either. The blue from the water and sky offset that frigid feeling. But I don’t think I could have this for more than a vacation home as I’d be afraid of soiling something and having to buy a new house.

well, it’s white.
And I’m going to have to go with boring. I guess if you can afford a 15 million dollar house, you can afford lots of hired help with stain remover and carpet cleaner.
Good catch on the photoshopping. On further inspection, i’m beginning to think that all the flowers and trays with glasses are photoshopped too, as well as most of the views through the windows from outside. They all look far too vivid and perfect.

Is the Architect color blind?
I’d go blind living there, too much white, I mean get real, you could never keep it clean.

For all the people who feel it’s necessary to point out how white this house is, here’s a tip:
These houses are never as white as they appear to be in photos. The photography makes them seem whiter than they really are when you see them in person.

I think the architecture is stunning. The mix or coral rock and glass on the outside is really elegant. This is a beautiful Miami house.

Obviously the flash from the camera makes it whiter, and that was the effect the photographer was going for.
A bright flash makes the house seem clean and brand new, which in fact is probably is, just not so much of an eyesore.
Also, speaking of keeping it clean, if you could afford a house like this, I presume you could afford a cleaner too? (And some new furniture too, for those who disagree with the interials).
Lastly, the view is amazing. You see some of these houses go to waste, with big wide windows and fabulous designs that look out onto emptiness, patches of dirt, or parking lots.
To see a house looking out onto the water really makes it feel summery, and suits the style of design.
