The Granduca Light Sculpture by Diego Chilò

Recently presented in Milan during Euroluce 2009, the Granduca light sculpture was designed by Diego Chilò for the Italian glass art and lighting manufacturer Venini.

The sculpture can grow up to nine meters in height, and features a delicate internal frame, which supports a myriad of small plates in opalescent glass that form a continuous surface of tiles that play with light and shadows.

LZF Lamps at the Veuve Clicquot Design Lounge in Milan

This past April in Milan, Spanish lighting manufacturer LZF Lamps showed off their new Agatha suspension lights, designed by Luis Eslava, at the Veuve Clicquot Design Lounge.

The lounge, designed by Adam D. Tihany, provided a place for people to meet and talk under the Agatha lights, while drinking Veuve Clicquot champagne.

Dracena Lighting by Diego Chilò

Diego Chilò has designed the Dracena lighting for the Italian lighting manufacturer Leucos.

Available in either wall or suspension versions, Dracena is composed of leaves in hand-drawn glass with a metal frame in chrome.
