Love the house & view, but for $18M, not that much. You can have a few homes on the ocean for 18M (one on each coast). But I do love the house… just wouldn’t pay that much for the dirt lot that it sits on.

Los CA, you wouldn’t pay that much because you couldn’t pay that much. I doubt you have $18m.

nice. Although I couldn’t imagine living in a house so huge, and this isn’t even that big. I just can’t imagine what it must be like to have the dilema of figuring out which lounge room to sit in ;o)

HAHA oh Joshua, there is always someone like you, isn’t there! First off, totally missed my point. Second, it’s none of your business how much money I have. Third, people like you only write/type that to appear as if you do have that money & want people to think you’re rich. You have a lot of growing up to do before you will ever even come close to probably even have 1/4 of $18M. Or, I could be waayyy off! You could have possibly just inherited money, but still, if you had actually earned/made $18M + on your own, it might not be so easy for you to make the comment you did. Trust me on this one. Now lets just leave it at that, and keep posts about the actual home/topic.

Los CA, I don’t have $18m. I never claimed that I did. YOU are the one who suggested that you do have that much by saying you wouldn’t pay that much. But I doubt that you do. Even if you did have that much money, your opinion wouldn’t matter, because this is a design blog, it’s about DESIGN, it’s not a blog about discussing the value of real estate. Every time an expensive house is featured on blogs like this, there has to be a bunch of people like you making comments about how it’s not worth the money. As if anyone cares about your opinion of the value of real estate.
If they posted photos of a new Lamborghini, there would be all sorts of people like you telling us all how you wouldn’t buy it because it’s not worth the money. As if anyone cared about their opinion of the value of cars. And of course 99% of those people couldn’t afford it anyways.
Notice that the people who made this post did not put the sale price in the post? Probably because they’re not interested in hearing random people’s opinions about whether they would pay that much for the house, or whether it’s worth that much money, or what other things they could buy with the same amount of money.
Why don’t you take your own advice and keep your own comments about the actual home/topic?
Here’s a hint: the topic is DESIGN.
