The Kart Chair by Harbenger Duo
The Houston, Texas husband and wife design team of Josh and Audrey Hardesty from
Harbenger Duo, have created the Kart chair.
The chair is made from walnut veneered birch plywood, coated with a clear satin acrylic.

plywood and a CNC router. i dunno. it’s nice, but it’s nothing overly special. it doesn’t look that comfortable with the stick straight back on it. The only really nice appeal it has to me is the wood look.

Nice enough design for what it is, but I’m beginning to fear these recent years will be looked back upon as the “CNC cut ply” era of furniture. The design already looks a bit dated.

clean, strong, light and looks comfortable. might be nice to edge band the ply though…might look a bit more sophisticated.
