Its always good when the designer makes the home modern without sacrificing the homes livability.

I see this as an outstanding proof of sanely creative design. The softness of it all transfers even through the steps at the entrance, modern, natural and sane. Great indeed.

THIS is good. the outdoor living space is eh, the counter stools are cool looking, but clearly not for use (by more than one), but livability, as LDG puts it, its got. and style.
love the wine cellar too -nice scale, too many folks doing restaurant wine cellars on a residential scale.

It’s a beautiful home. I particularly like the wall behind the bed and the porch.

Agree, it’s really nice to see modern architecture not ignoring the fact that it’s actually real people that have to live inside..

WOW. One of my favourite houses for a while. Stunning design, and what a location.
Just imagine sitting on the balcony after a day in the fresh powder

its a lovely ,subtle home ..the dark tone make it lavish and the wide openings made the house cheerful enough..

This house is not your typical chalet and the contemporary furniture completed the look. It’s nice to see lots of storage especially in the entry area. From what I could see you haven’t obstructed the amazing view throughout the space. I especially like the soft green accents in what I believe to be the media room. I might be inclined to bring in some area rugs during the winter though.

Very beautiful, but whats with with all the interior seating facing inwards, surely it would be nice to be able to sit inside and watch the snow fall rather than just watch ESPN all day?

Exceptiannly tasteful execution. Many a “modern” architect could learn from this home.
