clearly this house needed to be re modeled, but what a shame, not everything needs to be cold and clean. I liked it better before, and would have worked to keep the rootsy feel of this place intact while re modeling it. who cared if it's only from the 80s. this house had a great vibe before it got berlined.

I also like Arts & Crafts style homes, but I wouldn't call this Arts & Crafts. Real Arts & Crafts houses were built before 1930. This is really just a suburban ranch style house built in the 1980s. It's not the really beautiful architecture like a true Arts & Crafts house would be, so it's not much of a loss. There's probably a million houses out there that look like this.

I actually like the before exterior better than the after. Could have something to do with the fact that I love the Arts & Crafts style homes and hate seeing them disappear.

When I made the post, I tried to put “part 1? in the title, but it didn't fit.

The title does have the words Before and After, and I think one look at the photos in this post should tell you that these are obviously the before photos, which means there are probably some after photos to be found somewhere.

agree to Kory, because "part 1" should be in the title... so, misleading
