Beautiful work! I wish more people in Ottawa would learn from this : the right way of renovating an older building!

I love how Brits manage to make glass modernity coexist with the old. What got me though is how they thought to expand the indoor dining space by merely wrapping an otherwise least used path into more living area without making it visually cramped. And just as Lance said, how wicked must it be curled up and cozy in the window while it's grey and pouring outside.

The oversized door at the end of the kitchen corridor is great and the box window looks like a wonderful place to lounge while reading a book.

An excellent use of space and natural light. I absolutely love the brick wall with the glass and the modern kitchen/dining area. The little "bay" window with the wonderful wood daybed would be the perfect place to read a book during a nice rain shower.

Very, very nice job.
