I agree Wright’s influence is seen here. Like this home, Wright was a designer first. Making his homes livable was secondary.

The enhancing part of pictures actually, not the structure itself being edited. Well yeah credit that on good photography, generally on posted designs here and even in mags (and not just specifically on this page). But i guess the lens flare on picture #2 was photoshopped. Please dont get me wrong on my statements I love the designs!

Photoshop? Are you referring to the blurred people? That’s just a motion blur from using a slow shutter speed.

However, I do agree that many of these photos are not very good. Unlevel, barrel distortion, converging vertical lines, photographer’s reflection in the window, etc. The photo of the living room is the worst. Cool house, though.

@bahay – photoshops? that’s just really good photography being done. and now-a-days, no photographer pushes out their pictures without putting them through photoshop at least once. unless of course i’m completely missing your argument.

with that said, this is a BEAUTIFUL house. a nice contrast to some of the sterile posts that are made on this site. Love the use of materials.

Wonderful house, great architecture, great materials, terrible photography! I honestly hope they didn’t hire someone for those picture. Distortion, reflections, and bad lighting!

Beautiful formality and combination of materials. I can’t figure out what the panel material is on one side of the entry and down the gallery wall. Is it treated steel?
