Ivy Chair by h220430 Design Studio
Satoshi Itasaka of the Japanese design studio h220430 has sent us the Ivy Chair.
From the designers:
While living in the city where nature was excluded to the utmost limit, we tend to forget the fact that we depend on the power of nature and we do not remember it until natural disaster strikes. However, I believe that we should always appreciate nature and pay respect to it essentially.
By this artificial white color, “ivy chair” is merged into daily life without a sense of incompatibility. “Ivy chair” will make you feel comfortable as if you were surrounded by trees and flowers, Whenever you sit down in the chair and it will give you the signal to think about nature over the function as a chair.

It’d be better without the chair part underneath.

Katchoo! Tokujin! Katchoo! Could someone hand me a kleenex. Nevermind, I’ll blow my nose on the chair. Wait, those are leaves… Wait, Moroso has already done it, and better.

Come on Michael, let’s go hit Old Time Pottery. I have a hankering to hit the faux plant/hot glue aisle and guerilla cover something.

Or we could live in a hamster cage, Lance.
