I like the design – the kitchen is very nice. The only thing I don’t like is the hanging lamps next to the bed – they look like an after-thought and look a little ‘raw’ in such a refined bedroom.
All in all, a very, very nice home with beautiful neutral colours used, and the feature wallpaper in the shelving either side of the fireplace is fantastic!

I wouldn’t call it cold as in uninviting. It’s bright and crisp and refreshing like a glass if ice tea on a hot day.

I think my only critique would be the baseboard. I think its a little inconstant and distracting. but overall, I love it. This is very much my style. I especially love the slate wall in the Dining room.

I adore this house. The boutique hotel look is fantastic. Never been to Notting Hill, but I would love this living space anywhere. I enjoy the bursts of color (pillows, the one red door), and would agree with Lance that some artwork would certainly liven up this space.

I would love to live in Notting Hill, and I would love to live in this house.

My only suggestion is that the sofa upstairs needs a side-table or a lamp in that space beside it.

Very nice and slick, definetly styled for a designers portfolio rather than living. only thing I find that lets it down is the wallpapering, the joins are just way too visible and, to be honest, amatuerish

The only thing missing is some serious artwork. The bones of the house and the simple clean lines with warm tones are pure and calming.

Trust those of us who live chaotic lives and wish we could have a staff to come in and clean up everything Christian, an uncluttered home definitely helps lead to an uncluttered mind.

But yes they need something that say “we” live here, I definitely agree with you on that, but I have a feeling the photos were for the designers resume, not to share as the completed homeowner’s dream. That much probably should be left out until shot for an interior design magazine.

Nicely done. I like everything, and would be happy to live here.

The only thing I would change is that I would have preferred to see the TV in the livingroom recessed into the wall so it doesn’t stick out so much.
