Too sterile. Would have liked to see more wood or other natural, slightly darker coloured materials used.

I agree with one of the previous comments, a bit sterile. That said a nice execution, and quite beautiful. I would have liked to see some other materials in use here.

Beautiful but would get boring after a while. Too sterile for my taste. Looks great in magazines but I wouldn’t want to live there. I like color which gives a home more character.

I also thought of some snide comments like, “designed with the millionare skateboarder in mind” I really want to dislike it but I think there is an elegance to it. I see a curve concept that is well executed. Not for me but I still think I like it.

I saw many blogs re post this, I think Kanye called it a skateboarder’s dream house. I like it, and I’m a big fan of all white, but this is definitely a bit too much white, even white sand beach. A little color would help. Amazing still and a beautiful place.

I love it. At first I thought that it was too sterile, but after looking at more pictures I realized that it wasn’t trying to compete with the natural setting. Why clutter up the inside when you have that view?

I love the reversal of the glass walls in the shower. The shower is curb less and the toilets behind a frameless shower enclosure.

I agree with the the past two comments of WTF and sterile! There is nothing about this place that says “home.” It looks very hard and difficult to actually live in. Oh and one more agreement, I’d rather live in a hammock on the beach. It would be a lot more comfortable and a undoubtably less expensive!

This is mindblowing! Finally a house with a beautiful roof. The curves contrast with the straight elements and there is subtle repetion of form. Not a totally warped building like Hadid and others are churning out their computers.

The enclosed wc’s are easily explained. Basically it is an inverted shower cubicle.

Don’t understand cactus comment re no natural materials. I love this place. I’m not all together sure about the bath being open to the elements. I don’t understand why the toilet has to be partitioned either but that’s just me. when I win the lottery and learn to swim, I will one day aquire this place. I will also get over my inhibition re the toilet and the bath!
