It looks great, but check out the National Pop and Rock centre "ROCKHEIM" in Trondheim, Norway, by Pir II Arkitektkontor. Just finished, with 11.700 LED fixtures on the facade, each one controlled separately. And in day-time, it's completely different, covered by album-cover graphics in white, printed on iron-free glass panels. We're proud of it...

I think its brilliant the way it feels like an alien takeover on some building in the middle of nowhere. Im sure that whoever lives in this hotel is less concerned about some purple light in ther window and more about being apart of something so beautiful. Besides im sure the design team thought of the obvious.

Maintenance is going to be more fun that a barrel of monkeys. It appears they've already got some light segments not functioning.

Real cool design/concept. Saw a post on this a while ago before it had completed construction. But personally, would you want bright purple light gleaming through your windows at night? I would find that quite annoying.
