It is not the same as the "Treme Treme" project, looks a lot different. I like the unpolished look in it.

this wasn't a copy, it was custom made for this individual condo, look at how it fits snugly withing the ceiling recess and comes up to the bulkhead. Also notice how it is wall to wall, floor to ceiling, and the curves become shallow behind the door so it can fully open.

this project seems to be on par with the other work this studio does. they seem to offer nice work to mid-range buyers. nothing wrong with that....no need to hate.

I looked at the Treme site and this piece seems to be a more custom piece. The Treme piece is stock, but they both take a new look at shelving.

I've seen this concept before. As for the link Paul Posted, it's a cleaner look at the joints/overlaps, but i definitely prefer that this one has more random sized openings. The only thing i hate about the whole thing, is that it's done with a CNC machine. Yeah, it would be rather difficult to do by hand, but the CNC definitely screams of a lack of effort. All in all, as nice as it is, it's not what I'd get installed as the first thing one sees when walking in the door.

it's a nice idea done very, very badly. way too many verticals. the scale of it is completely wrong and the way it touches the floor and side walls looks very unconvincing...
a student project no doubt?
