it's all a bit of a mess to be honest.

Charles Correa did a far better interpretation of this theme with his Kanchanjunga Apartments in Bombay (1983)

I can see the resemblance to habitat67. Somehow this project gives off a feel of tenement housing?

But it's still an interesting look & feel. But what would it look like when other structures go up around them?

I've seen the Habitat67 and the Nakagin capsule tower.
I feel that the project is unique in its idea and the usage of extra space as terrace. However, it does not blend to the environment as well as the other two projects are.
The habitat67 are built in smaller scale and the brown coloured building blends naturally to the surrounding, while the Nakagin are surrounded by the high rise building, which makes it stands out, but not out of place.

Maybe it is the usage of black and white in this project, maybe it's too much contrast, or maybe it is just because it stands out too much, that it become a bit disturbing.
I don't know whether to like the overall product or feel disturbed, but i absolutely love the idea behind it.

I have to say I don't like this project! Weird but not in a beautiful way.

P.S. why do you delete people's comment?

I must agree with Irene. I am not a fan of this project. Although as a graphic statement on the screen it has an impact, thinking of this as a residence or place of work somehow stresses me out.
As Andy mentioned, this projects resembles Habitat67 in Montreal

however i felt when i visited habitat 67 that it has a way more studied arrangement, the scale is much easier to take in and the movement is somehow organic. This project feels a bit insulting to any natural environment, even an urban environment

I think this is a horrible project. It reminds me a lot of a similar building we have here in Madrid and I must admit it does not play well along with it surroundings.
From my point of view, architects should never forget about it visual impact once the building is in place.
For me this project is visually contaminating.

PGodart "Au look de container empilés…" Vraiment? Je l'aime.

It reminds me of Lego blocks as well, but in a good kind of way. It's doesn't have that "normal" architectural appearance, but it blends in well with the site.
