The Morph Bar Stool by Formstelle
German design studio Formstelle have added a bar stool to the Morph collection they designed for the furniture manufacturer, Zeitraum.
Zeitraum will exhibit the Morph stool at the upcoming 2010 IMM Cologne show in Germany.

Now that is one sexy stool. All that beautiful wood. Where’s my furniture polish and wax.
*For myself I would have milled out the seat pan from a solid piece; keeping the construction + material used – original source.

Very nice. Clean with a few curves. Ditto on the plywood seat comment. Would be even better as all solid wood.

Lovely clean form… Much warmer than the swell of steel/chrome bar stools that seem to feature in modern kitchen ads’…

It’s great! Perfect. Also, the solid piece on the seat wouldn’t work with the same thickness, if at all.
