This is a case of design over function again! As soon as anything is put on the top of this it will fold like a pack of cards. Some designs just dont work, put some thought into it first Florian and same goes for a lot of the other designers……….

Bloonose, Could not agree more ! Besides your remarks I would say that a writing desk should require a proper light ( a adjustable task light of some kind) and not just a fancy? fixture at the side of the desk. Florian, back to the drawing board !

I really like the idea of this table. It is beautiful. I don’t see any evidence of design over function. If there are any rules of how to build a “real” table, there should be absolutely no reason at all to break them with fresh thoughts and ideas – like Florian did. GO ON, FLO!
