Sorry Oliver, but I don’t think that the new design goes very well with the old farm. I prefer the 2 elements seperated from each other. in this case old and new don’t go along each oters. I’ve seen better.

@Raphael, I think it will go very nicely when the timber ages to grey.
Love the extension, but would like to see some more of the original building.

It’s too difficult to judge the success and sensitivity of this addition without seeing more photos of the original. from what i can see here though, i have to agree with Raphael
