It looks like the pool-water is leveled with the concrete – I don’t get it lol.

Whats with all the white, reminds me of a freaking hospital!

Most of the A-cero projects I don’t like much but this is really great … the black and white is in good harmony …

This house looks like it would be easy to live in. Very comfortably furnished and tastefully accessorised. The architectural shapes are interesting and will create some lovely shadows with artificial lighting. I wonder why the architects chose to install ceiling fans rather than air conditioning. Or did they put air conditioning in as well? Love the pool and the ‘skateboard’ park entrance. Sets the scene for some fun!

I love, love, love the roof deck.

Can anyone tell me what that tree is in the entryway? Oh, this seems to be the most livable a-cero home I’ve seen so far.

It feels fresh and clean. Nice!

Why put air conditioning in if you can just use ceiling fans. If the house is insulated properly and designed to make full use of cross ventilation you don’t need the horrible A/C

Nice house that lacks some color. Very modern sterile look.

( comment below )
the pool water is level with the deck its called a Wet edge or perimeter overflow, the trough that the pool overflows into is hidden under the first 12″ of deck.
A – cero. not a architecture firm, its a way of life.! Love em!
Andy on 30 Mar 2010 at 6:14 am #

Ceiling fans dont too much when temp above 26-28oC. I dont know the exact area but Spain, in general, can reach and exceed 30oC easily…

Love it all from the architecture lines to the interior design. Could live here without problem but Cádiz is hot so air conditioning is a must in such a home…
I would only improve the lanscaping to improve the privacy to the house grounds. (see master bedroom picture.

Robert Kugler on 17 May 2010 at 5:00 pm #
The exterior and interior concept do not really fit well. The interior is to extroverted and playful in comparison with the Zen-like exterior. This becomes especially clear when comparing the the entry with the living room for example.
Robert Kugler on 17 May 2010 at 5:03 pm #
..however, this is mainly due to the interior decoration and not the interior construction or room layout. So, the misfit might easily be improved
