I really like the interior design. It’s clean and simple.

i dunno, it seems so stark for a place in the wods. Nice, yes, but not so warm.

love the design/layout
but as usual, i hate the pharmaceutical/sterile/medically clean stark white walls… and it’s not just in a few rooms, the kitchen has it, the bookshelves are like that, the bedroom is like that.. such a shame that it’s so white on white on white. the wood accents are amazing, yet get lost against such painfully white walls.
Not to mention, the fact that i’m from Quebec. I can’t imagine being inside that white house looking out on a cold winter day and seeing all the white snow covering everything!

this is absolutely beautiful … i wanna live in this house … loved the staircase and void ( my favorite detail in the houses )

When it snows a person would get snowblind from all that white. Everyone would wear sunglasses like rock stars.

Could you imagine living there with kids? You would be busy cleaning fingerprints off the glass railings all day! No time to be looking out at the beautiful view or even worry about the white walls.
I do like the house with the darker woods and the nice layout. Something about the dark gray fireplace wall is gloomy to me or just too dark. They could have done something really great there.

I don’t think this looks sterile at all.
The polished concrete has a nice warmth and compliments the timber in the house. And there is just enough balance of dark finishes to balance out the white walls. In fact the interior finishes mirror the exterior landscape beautifully.
But I think the beauty of this house is the perfect positioning of windows – the way the light and shadows are created in this house is magic.
A great mountains house.

Magical light, minimalist but warmed up by timber; love the staircase, the fireplace and the upstairs alcove with chaise-longues – I’d love to relax there, and I can only imagine the view in summer…

very bland and lifeless. Looks a lot like most other contemporary designs out there. I would be depressed living in home devoid of passion and personality

Don’t see what isn’t kid friendly about it. Could easily live there with my 2 kids with no concerns.
I would however struggle to feel comfortable there in the middle of winter, it would be a very stark and cold place I’d imagine regardless of the heating available.

Very nice. Where can I find the floorplan?
