Joshua Newman’s Chair at Model Citizens 2010
Model Citizens is an annual exhibit in New York for independent designers to show off their work. This chair is from Brooklyn-based designer Joshua Newman.
Town@HouseStreet by Simone Micheli
Town@HouseStreet is a new hospitality concept that develops vacant and decayed urban shop spaces, and turns their owners into hotelliers. Every space has an independent entrance directly from the window overlooking the street. Guest access is completely automated through an alphanumeric keypad.
During Milan Design Week 2010, the first four suites, designed by Italian architect Simone Micheli, were opened in a commercial ground floor space at Via Goldoni 33 in Milan.
Weplight at ICFF 2010
At ICFF 2010, we met Argentinian designer Marcelo Dabini of Weplight, who was exhibiting three of his wood veneer lamps.
Muzeum Sztuki Café by Wunderteam
Polish designers Paulina Stepien and Magdalena Piwowar of Wunderteam, have designed a café and bookstore for the Muzeum Sztuki in Lodz, Poland.

The Spring Stool by Erik Jansen at ICFF 2010
At ICFF 2010 in New York, the Belgian manufacturer Wildspirit exhibited the Spring Stool, designed by Dutch designer Erik Jansen.
From the manufacturer:
Spring has the shape of a beautiful flower and is made out of bamboo stripes that have been cut and bowed in a special way. This nice experiment results in an extremely flexible and functional sitting pouff decorating your kitchen, lounge bar, living room.
