Industrial designer Alvaro Uribe has created the Celebration Lamp.

Celebration Lamp is a project aimed to transmit to the world the most profound spirit of Latin American culture; the celebration of life through dancing. Dance, is the one human activity where conjunctively we get together to rejoice about our existence. Through dance, our senses are activated, our bodies stretch, our eyes and ears are filled with sounds and colors, and we embrace in human interaction. Hence, the lamp is born by capturing the wrinkles of a dancers dress in motion, and then lid to radiate life and magic through its form. The lamp is made of in stamped Aluminum, with a powder-coated finish.
