The Saffire Freycinet Resort in Tasmania
The Saffire Freycinet is a recently completed resort in Tasmania, Australia.
Tasmanian architects Morris Nunn and Associates, together with interior designers from Chhada Siembieda, were asked to design an iconic development that captures the essence of the region and connects with its environment. The buildings are conceptually organic, evoking a connection to the sea, through references of waves, sand dunes and a flowing, organic form.

Amazing views that include water, mountains and trees together will be so inspiring and centering to the guests of the resort. Beautifully complemented by the rooms natural materials and clean lines, to frame and re-enforce the majesty of the views.
The overhanging roof of the dining area works well to amplify the scale of the mountains.

Wow talk about picture windows! Every window seems like a Kodak moment. Great design & execution.

Stunning resort in a stunning location. Freycinet is a beautiful part of Tasmania and has been lacking a good “high-end” hotel for luxury accommodation. Hopefully this will draw more people to this amazing part of Tasmania.

We just stayed at Saffire between Christmas and New Year and it was absolutely AMAZING! The views, the rooms, the service and the attention to detail were second to none….I totally recommend it. Definitely money well spent!
