Enzo – the floor is mostly likely an unfinished concrete slab with a 1/2″ epoxy mixture poured over it and painted. Artificial, but used when the finish has to be precise, as pour concrete is very finicky.

Is it just me, or does this seem strangely derivative of the Kaufmann house as shot by Shulman. Especially the shot with the pool in the foreground. Not that that is a totally bad thing.

Enzo…This is only speculation, but from looking at the various views I suspect it is polished concrete with a paint (polymer additive?) finish.

Enjoyed the open feeling of the home. Nice job opening things up such as the glass railing on the upper level for the outstanding views.
