Why the hell worry about maintenance so much…u r limiting ur creativity ….and if they can built this…they afford maintenance..its been considered…. architecture has a broad spectrum ..this is a good example of one of them….

The design of this space that we are able to see is fantastic. It goes to show that creativity is only limited by the imagination, and the size of your pocket book. I am sure the one room would give off a blue light which is a positive in my eyes. This is used as the calming room based lighting. The rest of the rooms you must use your imagination for based on the photos provided and their previous fish house. The gardens on the terrace and the windows through out do a great job of bringing the outdoors in.
I could go on and on, but short and sweet is often better than getting a stomach ache.

I agree with Zero34, it isn’t THAT special. Its nice, but the number of posts that go “amazing” “genius” “incredible” is a bit of a stretch.
Its also not about someone being able to “actually do better”, we’re posting our views on something irregardless of our personal ability.
All down to personal taste, I’m just surprised how so many have reacted to positively when I don’t see it as something that special.
Sorry Guz, I guess you don’t care as your clients are probably very happy.

Wow!!!! That house is so unique. The more I look at it the more I appreciate the individual elements. I would feel like I was on vacation everyday living in that house. What a piece of art!

what… my comment doesn’t get posted cause i was too critical of the design?
fine, i’ll put it in less harsh of a set of words: it sucks.

it’s this high and mighty attempt at being glamorous, but it fails miserably. 5 of the 8 pictures are of the exact same space, leaving little to no imagination about what was done in the other spaces. Then upon looking at the pictures we DO have, it’s nothing that special. It’s a giant open space with a pool that offers little use. glass walls? really? it screams of ungodly maintenance and problems down the road. the window looking into the living space from the pool is a dated at best concept, leaving a room with a CONSTANT blue lighting scheme.

I’m sorry, but it’s not that special. My first reaction was “wow, that’s cool” and then about 10 seconds later reality kicked in.
