Netherlands-based designer Tian Zhen has sent us the Swan Lamps collection.
The lamps are simply made from sheets of Tyvek paper sewn together and folded, with no extra hidden support. The lamps have a delicate leather base and slim wooden stands, all designed to ‘bring the Swan to life.’ The hanging Swan lamp has an ultra lightweight electric cable, allowing it to swing gently when people walk around, as if it’s actually alive.

George Papadopoulos is an architect who runs Skinotechniki, a company that normally designs and constructs scenery and sets for the stage, film and television industry, but he has also designed this house for his family in Lemesos, Cyprus.

The lamps are made from felt and ceramic, stitched together with waxed thread.

Ben Klinger and Shay Carmon, industrial designers from Israel, have created the Two Leg Table.
A coffee table based on two legs only. The two legs support and balance each other, and together carry the upper surface. In order to achieve stability, the contact area between the surface and the legs was increased by using additional matter that rises above the surface. The table’s special structure was achieved by using strong materials – Corian surface and oak legs.
