The LUC Chair by Böttcher+Henssler
German designers Moritz Böttcher and Sören Henssler have created the LUC chair.

.
Description from the designers:
The LUC chair is stackable and plays with the theme of a band, which takes up the substructure and is optically closed to the backrest. This theme can be found in the base again. The base is being considered as one 16mm steel tube. Seat and backrest are made of bent 2mm aluminum and are connected to each other at their lowest point. There both parts are fixed “invisible” like a “sandwich”. So it appears as if the seat is “hanging” and that seat and backrest are made out of one piece. For the comfort seat and backrest are upholstered with deep-drawn PET-felt in different colors.

love this. very clean. hard to design an original these days and what is even better is that it stacks. it also appears to use smart design to create strength while using minimal materials. at first glance i don’t love it but the longer i look the more it grows on me.
good work.!
