Japanese architect Daisuke Motogi has designed the “Lost in Sofa” chair that allows you to insert objects into it, such as a book or a TV remote control.

Description from the designer:
Things often get lost under the sofa. It’s ordinary for a coin which slipped out of your pocket, or a never-to-be-found remote to be accidentally found in between/underneath the sofa cushions. Maybe you’ll find a forgotten 10,000 Yen bill that you once hid there…

This is sweet, love the idea.. wouldn’t risk eating on it though, trying to clean this would be hell.

This is quite playful and could accent a fun place. What happens if you insert CDs or DVDs in all areas of the seating: front, back, cushion…it becomes an artful storage rack. You could decorate the chair one week with plastic flowers, the next week with Christmas decorations, Valentines, Shamrocks…this is why I’m not an interior decorator. Actually the chair looks cool without anything stuck in it.
