I agree, fantastic craftsmanship, and the forms are very cool… but too many unrelated details at once. I’m in love with the drop-pin “fingers” though – I can only imagine how much time that took to get right.

My mom used to have an old table top wood radio, i think it was from the 50′s, this forms reminds me a lot of it.

I think this work is really interesting and draws on a lot of influences, but I haven’t really seen these influences brought together like this. Personally I like the boldness of the designs, the mix of colours (I am usually a monotone person)and the “life” I see in these pieces.
Yep, I see some fifties….Jetsons maybe, I see some Nakashima. What I can’t comment on is the craftmanship. The images themselves are fantastic! Ha!

The color and some textures are very well used, finishes looks flawless, but there is something in the form that does not convince me. I feel like I’m back to the first half of 20 century.
