Apartment Interior by Jovo Bozhinovski
Bulgarian designer Jovo Bozhinovski has sent us a recently completed apartment interior.

.
Description from the designer:
The desire of the owner of the dwelling was to achieve a cold and minimalist atmosphere without warm colors and materials. For this purpose we used materials such as: fiberglass, lacquered MDF, technical stone, glass and metal. The apartment is 110 meters square,?n the first floor pitched kitchen, dining table and sitting area.On the second floor two bedrooms and bathroom. The staircase was an important element in the design of the dwelling so we built a tall black fiberglass wall panel and centrally located vertical unit serving not only rail but also for lighting on the stairs.Reflecting the wall surface created a feeling of glowing arch.On the second floor to this central element put a glass for the safety of the staircase.Stand the TV, lamp above the sofa, dining table, kitchen, railing of the stairs and furniture in the bedrooms are specially designed by us for this home.Trying to create a unique and incomparable atmosphere.

I was just thinking, “Looks like Darth Vader lives here…”.

very cohesive & accomplished what the owner was looking for. Now let’s go out & find that owner a heart

Ultramodern, cold and devoid of human emotions.

great use of space, the living room seems very relaxing. Cold can be beautiful too.

seems the purpose, cold and minimalist, worked well.

wow wow wow. looks like a movie set. but I could imagine living in that. even though it may be “cold”. I think it is marvellously eyecuted and very innovative.

It’s a great movie set…..I hope the owner shows off his “Look-but-don’t- touch” pad. I suspect anyone entering is served with white silk gloves and anti-microbial booties. As far as the designer meeting the client’s wishes, you can presume it was a successful partnership, but I suspect if this was the look the client wanted, he sought out Bozhinovski because his designs are a bit of a “one-trick pony” and this project illustrates his trick.
P.S. …….I despise black light fixtures.

Had to go back and take a look again at this beauty….
It’s very well executed. And the use of materials is amazing.

Once again, I begin to like the design, but….. It IS void of life, that some simple wall art could remedy. AND AGAIN, the photography leaves far too much behind. Getting caught up in their own “ART” of photography interferes with capturing the whole residence. Like the home, hate the photography.

I can’t help but think that this is a sad way to live.
But the client requested “cold and minimalistic” and he certainly got his wish so good luck to him.

To hell with modern, cold or minimal…it’s juts tacky. Of course the owner has Armani sheets!
